Oh my sweet Lord... this made me shed man tears... because I actually had a very similar experience, only that I was Lucy! I finally said to a girl what I felt about her and she pretty much said the same thing that Mike said (but unlike him she was never attracted by me), it was so heart-breaking... poor sweet Lucy, come to me, let me hug you :'(

I always loved how Mike, at the end of the twelfth page, seems to be asking the audience for advice.

Now YOU can determine the fate of Mike and Lucy's relationship! Options:
A. "I love you too, and I always have!"
B. Kiss 'de girl.
C. "I respect you and love you like a sister. I don't want to hurt you. Can we still be close friends?"
D. Say exactly the wrong thing and break her soft, vulnerable heart that it took her years to reveal.
E. SECRET WEAPON

Man I remeber reading some of your comics a few years ago and just wow! I love the way your style has evolved.

This has to my favorite chapter so far, I know its really depressing, but you have done an amazing job making your characters feel so "real"

most win things in this chapter = the seething kizuna panel and the change from blue to pink color at that 'i love you' part. it really made a difference i think :nod:

Ah I feel so bad for Lucy because I was in the same spot as her last summer...It turned terrible for me and I can only hope it turns out alright for her.
